SIXTH formers in Workington have also enjoyed their share of the fun with a celebratory ball in the town.

On July 8 the West Coast Sixth Form Centre based in Workington Academy celebrated their Year 13 Class of 2022 prom at the Washington Central Hotel.

A spokesman for the sixth form said they would look forward to seeing students again on results day.
