A VERY special graduation took place in Workington this week as pupils from a popular town pre-school moved on to the next step in their schooling life.
On Tuesday, July 18 children from the Learning Land Pre-School on Derwent Street in the town took part in a graduation ceremony to mark the end of their nursery life - before making the transition to infants school in September.
Mother and daughter management team Hilary and Kiana Mccarron wished to thank their 'little treasures' for their time at the nursery.
They said: "We are so proud of every single child who graduated from Learning Land Pre-School.
"They have all been an absolute pleasure to care for and we will miss them all so much.
"Thank you to all the parents for trusting us with their little treasures, allowing us to fulfill or passion and dream of making a difference to shape young hearts and minds.
"Happy Graduation to all our pre-school children, we would like to wish them all the best of luck on the next part of their little journeys."
The children wore the nursery's own take on graduation caps and gowns, as well as posing for the traditional end-of-school pictures with their pre-school teachers with smiles all round to celebrate the special day.
