A DOG walker has warned canine lovers about walking their dogs in an area of Workington after a dog has allegedly died - believed to have been the result of 'poison'.
The area affected is believed to be near the church yard at St John's Church in the town.
Lazy Bones Dog Walking issued a warning to dog owners and walkers in the town.
They said: "Please keep all your dogs out of St John's Church Yard Workington someone has put poison down in the church grounds and one dog has already sadly passed away."
The church has said that they are absolutely horrified to hear about the reported incident.
