CHILDREN will have a winter treat this year with a free concert and goodies.
Imagination Parties, the professional party throwers, are holding a concert in Maryport that has been funded by Maryport Town Council.
Each child will receive a free drink and goodies.
Town clerk Paul Bramley said Maryport Town Council was committed to supporting the community and especially young people.
"As we approach winter, we thought this concert was something that merited our support. The concert will be open to every child in Maryport and the surrounding district and will give them something to look forward to.
"The fact that it is free will also help parents in these difficult times with prices rising as they are."
Imagination Party's organiser, Simone Hetherington, said this is an interactive show with a message.
"We are delighted to be able to bring two shows to the town, on Saturday November 12. We are also grateful to the Grass lot Club, the venue for the concert, who have allowed us free rehearsal times."
