A MAN in his 70's has been taken to hospital with 'lfe threatening injuries' after a crash near to Maryport Golf Club.
Police are investigating a serious injury road traffic collision that occurred on the A596 near Maryport Golf Club yesterday, September 11 at around 4pm.
The collision involved a Black Ford Fiesta, Red Fiat Panda and a Kawasaki motorcycle.
The rider of the motorcycle a man in his 70s was been taken to the Royal Victoria Infirmary by air ambulance with life threatening injuries.
The driver of the Fiat was uninjured, the driver of the Ford sustained minor cuts.
The driver of the Ford, a 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and driving a motor vehicle when alcohol above the limit and released under investigation.
