The Browton 7+ were back on their bikes - raising lots of money for the village's older residents.
Eleven cyclists set off on the fundraising trip which was first launched 33 years ago and has raised more than £75,000 since then. Two of them - Mitch Gorley (riding) and John Wilson (supporting) are from the original crew.
David Wearing completed his first ride.
They all raised a glass to former and much-loved teammates Mally Martin, who launched the group, and Les Gorley.
Stephen Tyson has been part of the gang for the past decade.
"It was a great weekend and we were lucky with the weather. We set off from Broughton and took a new route, through Brigham, Dean and Loweswater," he said.
"We had our first stop for refreshments at the Kirkstile Inn before heading to Buttermere, where we climbed Newlands Pass.
"We then progressed onto Swinside, where we stopped at the Swinside Inn before heading to Grange and onto our overnight accommodation at the Derwentwater Hostel."
They returned to Broughton the following day and were treated to a buffet at Brewery House.
"Everyone looks forward to it and we all loved it.
"A big thanks goes to Ray Dobie and John Wilson for carrying out the role of support drivers and Hallie Shaw of Brewery House for the buffet and hospitality," said Stephen.
"Thanks also to all who sponsored the riders and the cyclists themselves for taking part and carrying on the tradition started 33 years ago."
They hope to have raised £1,500 for a trip for the Great and Little Broughton's older residents.
Seventy-five pensioners enjoyed a day out this year, thanks to funds raised by the Brotwton 7+. It was the first trip since the pandemic.
