A WORKINGTON amateur dramatics company is making final preparations for a show that looks sets to be 'fabulous' for all the family.
It’s getting close until the curtain goes up on Workington Amateur Operatic Society’s production of the award-winning Shrek the Musical.
The whole cast and crew have been working hard over the past few months and have thoroughly enjoyed bringing together the big, bright, beautiful world of Shrek characters and fairy tale creatures.
Tony McGee, director, and playing the role of Lord Farquaad, said: “Final preparations are well underway to bring our audience a performance to remember.
"The show includes lavish costumes and make-up and state of the art scenery and lighting! WAOS are producing a fabulous show for all the family!”.
Shrek is being performed from October 11-15.
Tickets are on sale now via the Carnegie Theatre Box Office and online.
