POLICE are looking for a man in his late 20's after a woman was sexually assaulted in a Lake District village.
Police are investigating an incident where a woman was sexually assaulted by a man at Bassenthwaite.
The woman was assaulted as she walked on land near the river Derwent and the Peil Wyke Castle Inn road at about 6pm on October 6.
A Cumbria police spokesman said: "The man is described as aged in his late twenties and white.
"He had a dog with him at the time."
Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone who has any information to contact them.
