A CAFE opened on the Maryport Marina during lockdown is applying for an alcohol licence.
The cafe, instigated by the harbour authority, has been created to service people using the marina and harbour caravan park, as well as local people.
Angela Kendal, chairman of Maryport town Council's planning committee, said the cafe was 'not enormous but very friendly' and said it would be an asset to the town.
