A man was in court after he attempted to steal diesel from a plant hire business.
Johnboy Mulvenna, 24, attempted to steal diesel from John Elliot Ltd in Workington on November 25.
The defendant, of Shannon Moor, Aveling Drive, Banks, Lancashire, pleaded guilty to a charge of attempted theft, when he appeared at Workington Magistrates’ Court.
He was fined £120 and must pay a £48 surcharge.
