A DRINK-DRIVER was nearly three times the limit when she was involved in a collision.
Diane Phillips, 55, was driving a Nissan Qashqai on John Street in Maryport on December 19 when the incident took place.
A breath test showed she had 102mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35mcg.
Phillips, of Suncroft, Crosby, Maryport, pleaded guilty to driving with alcohol level above the limit, when she appeared at Workington Magistrates’ Court.
She was banned from driving for 25 months, to be reduced by 25 weeks, if she completes the drink-drivers’ rehabilitation course.
Phillips must abstain from drinking alcohol for 120 days as part of alcohol abstinence and monitoring programme.
She must pay £85 costs and a £114 victim surcharge.
