A MAN has denied sexually touching a female on a train.
Douglas Moore, 52, of Craig Road, Workington, pleaded not guilty to sexual assault on a female aged 16 or over, when he appeared at Workington Magistrates’ Court.
It is alleged that Moore put his hand up a female’s skirt as she walked down the aisle of a train travelling between Carlisle and Aspatria, on October 16, 2021.
The case was sent to Carlisle Crown court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on February 24.
