HERE are the scores on the doors for some of West Cumbria's eating establishments - as new ratings are awarded to eateries in the area by the Food Standards Agency.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to four of Allerdale’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

• Rated 5: Asda Cafe at Dunmail Park Shopping Centre, Workington; rated on January 26

• Rated 5: Lifeboat Inn at Lifeboat Inn, Senhouse Street, Maryport; rated on January 23

• Rated 5: Luigi's at 22 King Street, Wigton; rated on February 2

• Rated 5: The Shack at The Kiosk, Station Road, Wigton; rated on February 2
