FORMER Scotland and Rangers manager Alex McLeish was in Cockermouth over the weekend - and had a pint or two in one of the town's most loved pubs.
The former Aberdeen defender made 500 league appearances for the club, and won 77 caps for Scotland throughout his playing career.
He then went on to take many high profile management positions for Birmingham City, Rangers and Aston Villa.

On Friday, March 3 the former manager was spotted in Cockermouth, whilst spending some time in The Bush Inn.
Staff member Michael Graham, from Workington, said he was surprised to see the former Scotland international in the pub.
He said: "He was really nice. He had a crack with me about football and asked what team I support, and he was really nice with my bosses and the staff."
