Tour de France winner and multi-Olympic Gold medallist Sir Bradley Wiggins is set to visit the Carnegie in Workington to talk about his amazing life and career.
The road and track racing cyclist, who competed professionally between 2001 and 2016, has a host of accolades to this name.
As well as his Olympic and Tour de France successes, he is the only rider to have won both World and Olympic championships on track and road; has held the world record in team pursuit on multiple occasions; and held the record as Great Britain’s most decorated Olympian.
Manager Cheryl Hewetson, who arranged the visit from Sir Bradley Wiggins, said: “The Carnegie is an incredible venue and we’re really putting ourselves on the map thanks to the hard work of our incredible team.
“We are a venue for everyone, and the increasingly varied programme of performances, talks, screenings, community events, and casual events in the bar are a true reflection of that.
Sir Bradley Wiggins comes to the Carnegie Theatre on September 5 2023. Standard tickets start at £31, with VIP and Super VIP packages also available.
Tickets go on sale at 11.30am on Friday, March 31. Visit carnegietheatre.com or call the Box Office on 01900 602 122.
