A POPULAR west Cumbrian dance event, which saw more than 160 children from different schools across the area perform, returned this year for a sell-out show.
U.Dance west schools in Copeland and Allerdale performed at the Carnegie Theatre, Workington on March 21 with a sell out show.
165 children in total were involved from infants, juniors, secondary and community groups across the area.
Performers were aged from three to 16.
Schools including St Joseph's Catholic High School, Workington, Dancemania dance school, Monkwray Juniors, St Michael's Nursery and Infants School and Bransty Primary School attended the event.
Organiser Natalie Cook said: "I am part of One Dance which supports dance in schools, leads the way to a stronger more diverse dance sector.
"It has one clear voice - to support, advocate, enhance and give profile to dance and performance.
"The show was a variety with Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Greatest Showman, Food Glorious Food, London 1666, all the things you can think.
"All children were welcomed back on stage with their teachers to receive their medals and a certificate from the foundation.
"It truly was amazing to see all the children together at the finals for a celebration of a successful show that was enjoyed by all.
"All the schools are already looking forward to U.Dance 2024."
