Cockermouth Civic Trust will be leading free tours of Cockermouth Castle over two weekends this year.
The first will take place in June, the second in September. Admission will be by pre-booked ticket, available from the Tourist Information Centre in Cockermouth Library.
Tickets are free but visitors will be invited to make a voluntary charity donation on the day. The tours will be mostly outdoors.
The dates for the June tours, which are not suitable for children under the age of seven, will be June 16 to 18, all at 2pm. Tickets will be available from May 13.
Information on the September tours will be provided later in the year.
