More than 1,100 youngsters took part in a fantastic fundraising football festival in Cockermouth.
One hundred teams took part in 14 different competitions during the weekend event organised by Team Evie.
Lots of friends and family turned out to support the youngsters - and help raise more than £16,000 to help sick children and their families.
Team Evie was set up by Greg and Jill Johnston following the death of their first daughter, Evie, who died aged six months in September 2015.
Charity CEO Greg said: "The event was an amazing success – with 1,100 children and their families joining us at the festival over the weekend.
"It was an incredible event during which so many people commented about how brilliant the atmosphere was and how relaxed and enjoyable it was."
He is hoping it will become an annual event.
The festival, at Highfield, included a fundraising village, made up of a pre-loved football kit stall, sweet shop, games tent, cake stall, football games, raffle, huge inflatable obstacle course.
"We were also kindly supported by Sizzlin’ Simon with his food van, Monty’s ice-cream van, The Moon and Sixpence Coffee Van and Get Fizzed prosecco van and bar," said Greg.
The charity’s work is split up into three main areas: supporting sick children and their families in hospital, in the community and with bereavement support.
"Combined together with the sign up fees for the teams competing we have raised over £16,000 to help sick children and their families in our area."
He is grateful to all the hardworking people who made the festival possible.
"It has taken a lot of work to pull off this event. It's been our biggest single event – and we couldn’t have done it without the vision, hard work and support of Marc Skillen from our events team, or without the support of everyone at Highfield Sports Club/Cockermouth Titans who gave us the use of their facilities - and so much support," said Greg.
"We can’t thank enough all the people who came along to take part and our amazing team of volunteers who helped the event run smoothly and ensured everyone had a great time."
