AN award-winning business whose multi-sector clients include tourism and hospitality, agriculture and rural industries is charting further expansion after investing in a major revamp of its headquarters to provide a more collaborative working space for its team.
H&H Insurance Brokers, which serves clients across the North of England, Wales and the Scottish Borders, has opened its refurbished headquarters in Carlisle.
Paul Graham, Managing Director of H&H Insurance Brokers, said: “We’re absolutely delighted with our new-look office.
“The feedback from the team has been brilliant and I can already see that it will change the way we work by creating a more collaborative approach to working across the team.
“Our ambition now is to build on the investment in the refurbishment and to use it as a springboard to grow and evolve H&H Insurance Brokers over the next few years.”
The work at H&H Insurance Brokers’ headquarters was carried out by Eco Group’s projects division, which operates across the UK from its offices in Annan and Carlisle.
Paul said: “The team at Eco Projects did a fantastic job. All aspects of the project were delivered on time and on budget, and we were kept informed on how it was progressing throughout the entire process.”
Eco Projects carried out the work, from start to finish, in ten weeks and the end result has shown that businesses wanting to create a different working environment don’t have to look to new premises to meet their needs.
Ryan Fieldston, Project Manager for Eco Projects said: “People often don’t realise how much space they have in a property. Businesses might have people working in different small offices but when they open it out they often can’t believe how much space they have. It means they don’t need to move offices to create a completely different environment.
“This was exactly the type of job we love doing. We were tasked with revamping the offices to make it more open, with more daylight and natural lighting, and repositioning all the workstations to generally make it a nicer working environment for all the staff.”
A full Eco team of joiners, plasterers, and electricians set about restructuring the workspace. Air conditioning insulation specialists brought their skills to the project and Eco’s team laid the new flooring. They also achieved the most sustainable solutions possible throughout the revamp.
