THE woman who 'knitted the Bible' for her church is taking off on another high-flying adventure.
Rose Lewis lets neither age nor lack of experience stop her.
The 71-year-old swam five miles to raise money for WaterAid, despite the fact that she only learned to swim as an adult.
She knitted stories from the Bible to raise money from the church and now she will embark on a one-mile zip wire in Wales that travels up to 100 miles an hour.

She has roped in her son Jim and his two children, Gail and Daniel, making it a three-generation event.
The zip wire is scheduled for August 20.
The historic St Mungo's Church needs its walls to be plastered and Rose wants to raise enough to get the job done.
"I’ve done the old-fashioned thing. I hold a clipboard and ask people to sponsor me.
"I got £160 at last Sunday's service, which feels like a good start to me. I’m aiming at £1,000, which won’t do the whole job as it needs special plaster, but will help and hopefully up St Mungo's profile."
