A local transport manager from Workington, Kori Rewcastle, is one step closer to winning the prestigious title of Transport Manager of the Year 2023.
Kori Rewcastle, from Workington, has been announced as a shortlisted finalist for the competition, which recognises the outstanding achievements of transport managers across the UK and their contributions to the industry.
The competition, supported by BP, has attracted a high calibre of entrants, making it a close competition.
Kevin Green, marketing and communications director at Logistics UK, said: “I would like to congratulate Mr Rewcastle on becoming a shortlisted finalist in this year’s Transport Manager of the Year and wish him all the best for the final stage of judging. This has been a very close competition with a high calibre of entrants, all deserving to win.”
Kori Rewcastle, Transport and Compliance Manager at JR Dixon Limited, said: “I feel incredibly lucky to be selected as a finalist for Transport Manager of the Year 2023. Finalists will be granted free entry to Logistics UK's Transport Manager conference in Birmingham, taking place on November 30, where the winner will be announced.
The winner of the competition will receive a £1,000 holiday voucher, while the second-place finalist will receive a £500 shopping voucher.
Both winners will also receive two tickets each to the 2023 Logistics Awards.
