A POPULAR West Cumbrian pub has announced it will close it's doors this month, it has been announced with 'great sadness'.
The Belle Vue pub, in the village of Papcastle, Cockermouth will close on Sunday, September 17.
The popular village pub has been a firm hit with people in West Cumbria, serving food and drinks.
The management have thanked customers who have supported them during their five years at the pub saying their time at the Belle Vue has been 'fun'.
In a statement on social media, Mike and Sharron Wilkinson, who run the Belle Vue, said: "With great sadness we would like inform everyone that the Belle Vue will be closing on Sunday 17th September.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our fantastic customers who have supported us over the last 5 years. It’s been fun.
Any outstanding gift vouchers can we redeemed at The Royal Yew or Shills of Cockermouth."
