McMenon Engineering, a Workington-based firm, has won a regional Game Changer award from the British Chambers of Commerce.
The accolade, part of the Chamber Business Awards 2023, singles out the company as the Northwest of England's Entrepreneur of the Year.
McMenon CEO Anand Puthran expressed his pride in the company's accomplishments and its drive to keep innovating.
He said: “McMenon has thrived as a Game Changer and will continue to do so.
“This award from the British Chamber of Commerce is not just a recognition of our past achievements but also a motivation to continue pushing boundaries and setting new standards.
“We believe in the power of ambition, and will continue to invest in innovation and the next generation to drive positive change.”
The leader thanked the British Chamber of Commerce and the Cumbria Chamber of Commerce for their support.
He said: “Thank you to the British Chamber of Commerce for the honour. And a huge thanks to our Cumbria Chamber of Commerce for their support and everyone who has been a part of our journey.”
McMenon will now proceed to the national finals of the awards later this year.
