MULTIPLE fire engines were on the scene in Maryport following a fire at a takeaway on the town's main street.
It is understood that Senhouse Street in the town has been closed off whilst crews work to try and put out the fire.
Emergency services were on the scene at the fire in the Atish takeaway on Senhouse Street, Maryport with reports that six fire engines were in attendance last night, November 14.
Flames can be seen coming from the back of the building in a video taken by one eyewitness.
