A festive post box has been placed in Cockermouth, encouraging the community to share what they enjoy most about the holidays and how they plan to spend time with friends and family.
Pupils at Fairfield Primary School were some of the first to share their letters, helping to launch the campaign created by Lovell Homes.
The post box is in the company's marketing suite at Roman Heights.
On December 15, one letter will be selected at random to win a £100 M&S voucher.
Anne-Marie O’Doherty, regional sales director, said: “We are excited to spread a little festive cheer – especially given the cost of living crisis – and offer families the chance to win a voucher to spend in M&S, perfect for that Christmas shop."
