HERE are all the places Santa will be stopping off through Workington this festive season, as he joins up with Workington Derwent Rotary Club again to visit some of the town's streets in person.
To avoid the dangers of traffic in the dark he will not be stopping just anywhere but in lay-bys and under street lights.
His routes are:
Tuesday 19th December
Start at The Oval Centre at 5.30pm,then down Pearl Road and on to Poole Road from 6.30 to 7.00pm.
Wednesday 20th December
Start at Seaton Garage at 5.30pm.then up Barncroft Avenue and around the Hunters Drive, Cape Road,Ling Road areas.
Thursday 21st December
Start at Moorclose shops at 5.30pm,then along Grasmere Avenue, then around the area of Derwent Avenue ,Elterwater Avenue ,Eskdale Crescent then over to the Edinburgh Avenue ,Calder Drive area at approx 6.45pm
Friday 22nd.December
Start at bottom of Westfield Drive at 5.30pm then along Rowe Terrace, Westview Walk, across to The Minto Centre, then on to the Windsor Road, Garth Road area.
A spokesman for Workington Derwent Rotary said: "He won’t be knocking on doors this year so you’ll have to listen out for the music but his Elves will have their buckets if you’d like to make a donation.
"Don’t forget the times are all approximate, depending on who turns out to see him and if it’s raining heavily he might have to stay at home cause his lights don’t like water.
"If you miss him on the above you can always say hello to him on Saturdays and Sunday outside Haigh's and Marks and Spencer's or Morrisons on Friday 22nd when he’ll be playing his popular Christmas tunes for Mummy’s and Daddy’s."
