POLICE in Allerdale have done an estate walkaround following a house being searched for drugs last week.
Officers in Workington worked with Castles and Coasts Housing Association around the Northside area to reassure residents and offer support.
A man was arrested last week after a successful drugs warrant was carried out at a property in Northside.
A spokesperson from Cumbria Police said: "Following a drugs warrant that was conducted in Northside last week, PCSO 5421 King has worked in partnership with Castles and Coasts Housing Association by attending a joint walk around in the area.
"This involved speaking to residents and delivering a street-safe survey to the local community. There is also ongoing work by the Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) to target drug activity.
"If you have any concerns in your area, please report this to police via 101, or in the event of an emergency, always call 999."
