A LAKES hotel has been left devastated after announcing with 'heavy hearts' that a custom- made Grinch head has been stolen from their festive display.
The Inn on the Square hotel in Keswick has appealed to anyone with information after the theft of the custom made decoration from their 'enchanting festive display'.
The hotel has said they have been left 'truly disheartened' after the incident and hope the Grinch finds his 'way back home soon'.
In a statement, Inn on the Square said: "With heavy hearts, we share the unfortunate news that our custom-made Grinch head, a key part of our enchanting festive display, has been stolen
"While the Grinch may have once tried to steal Christmas, this year, the Grinch display has stolen the hearts of many guests and staff. It saddens us that not everyone can now enjoy it as originally intended
"If anyone has information about the whereabouts of this unique decoration, please do get in touch
"It is truly disheartening to have to share this news, and we sincerely hope the Grinch will find his way back home soon."
