NEW food hygiene ratings have been awarded to Cumberland’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.
Several restaurants, canteens, and cafes in the Allerdale area received a five-star food hygiene rating.
The venues that received a five-star rating included The Moon & Sixpence Coffeehouse at Cockermouth, No.52 at Maryport, The Old Bank Tearooms in Aspatria, Netherton Infants School at Maryport, The Pheasant Inn at Bassenthwaite, Annabell's Tearoom in Maryport, Costa Coffee at Dunmail Park in Workington and Bistro at Lakes Distillery in Cockermouth.
Alternative Takeaway in Cockermouth also received a five-star food hygiene rating.
