A MUCH loved Workington restaurant and bar has closed 'until further notice' it has been announced.
The Briery on Stainburn Road in Workington announced the closure on social media today, apologising to customers for the sudden closure.
In a social media post, the Briery said: "The Briery is closed due to unforeseen circumstances
"Until further notice."
The restaurant had previously been advertising Christmas dinner bookings for a three course meal and live entertainment on their social media
The restaurant had previously said on social media they had to close briefly on the evening of Sunday, December 10 due to 'staffing issues'.
The Briery has been approached for comment on the current situation.
