FIVE people have been arrested and one taken to hospital after armed police were deployed to an address in Workington.
Police were called at around 2:15am on January, 7 with a report of an altercation at an address on Windsor Road, Workington.
Officers attended the address and detained four people, two men aged 43 and 47, and two women aged 43 and 18, on suspicion of affray.
The 47-year-old man who was arrested was subsequently taken to hospital with minor injuries.
A 19-year-old male was also later arrested on suspicion of affray in connection with the incident.
"Armed response vehicles were deployed to provide first aid at the scene," police said.
Those arrested have been released on bail while enquiries continue.
