A RENOWNED Cumbrian crime author has launched a new novel based set in the landscapes of the Solway Firth.
Harry Navinski will unveil his latest novel, 'The Last Walk,' at a special launch event on February 8 at Cockermouth book shop, The New Bookshop.
The event kicks off at 7pm, with organisers saying it promises to be an evening of fascination and intrigue... with a free glass of wine.
In a departure from his usual Edinburgh setting, Navinski transports readers to the landscapes of Dumfriesshire, highlighting the beauty of the Solway Firth. The investigation, led by DCI Suzanna McLeod, takes the team out of Scotland, into Cumbria’s towns and villages on the other side of the Solway.
'The Last Walk' delves into a chilling murder case, as Suzanna McLeod seeks to uncover the truth behind the brutal killing of a woman and her dog on farmland.
The novel, now available on Amazon, will also find a home on the shelves of The New Bookshop in Cockermouth.
To celebrate the book launch, interested readers and fans can secure their tickets by contacting The New Bookshop at 01900 822062.
