A FREEMASONS Lodge in Cumbria has donated money to Blood Bikes.
The Derwentwater Lodge in Keswick has donated £300 to the cause.
Blood Bikes Cumbria is operated by volunteers across the county who deliver blood products to hospitals, surgeries, and those in need.
The team operates around the clock to ensure that the blood products, and in some cases breast milk or other items, reach their destination promptly.
A Cumbria Freemasons spokesperson said: "On Friday, a presentation of £300 was given to Cumbria Blood Bikes by Derwentwater Lodge, Keswick.
"The worshipful master, David Stephenson, presented the cheque to Louise Hetherington and Ian Walby, representatives of Blood Bikes Cumbria."
