A YOUTH caught damaging property was made to litter pick and also repaid the homeowners.
The teenager also bought those affected flowers as a form of apology.
A Cumbria Police spokesperson said: "This morning, a youth completed community payback for kicking doors around the Westfield area.
"The youth went back to wash the doors and do a litter pick down the back path, which is now looking much cleaner.
"He said he had learned from his silly behaviour and would not be making the same mistakes in the future. He also apologised to the homeowners and brought them flowers."
