Great Broughton joins the list of Cumbrian locales enjoying Full Fibre broadband from provider, Fibrus -with more than 700 properties able to take advantage.
This recent upgrade follows roll-outs in Workington, Parton and Ambleside.
Fibrus chief financial officer, Colin Hutchinson, said: "We're pleased to be able to bring the benefits of our Full Fibre network to even more communities in Cumbria.
"The work we have carried out in Great Broughton means local residents connectable to the network will no longer have to tolerate unreliable speeds from old copper lines.

In addition to technological upgrades, he highlighted the company's community investment, "As you will have fibre directly to your home, you will no longer need a traditional telephone line.
As well as investing in broadband, the company has been investing in communities.
In the last 12 months, the Fibrus Community Fund has invested £60,000 addressing digital poverty and supporting local entities such as Time to Change West Cumbria and Workington Town Rugby League Club.
