A POPULAR West Cumbrian beer festival will return to Workington 'in all of it's glory' as it aims to raise funds for good causes.
The Workington Rotary Beer Festival will runs on May 17 and 18 at the Fibrus Stadium, Derwent Park, Workington and is hosted jointly with Workington Town Rugby League Football Club, with all profits going to support predominantly local charities..
Keith Beattie, President of Workington Rotary Club said: "The beer festival has been the backbone of Workington Rotary Club's charity fundraising for several years now, it's a pity we missed out on covid , this is our return in all our glory.
"We are down at the Fibrus Community Stadium, the bands are brilliant as usual, the beers are going to be phenomenal , there is something there for everybody so we want people to come and have a good time, that's what it's all about having a good time and supporting charity.
"Even the non drinkers, because someone has just said to me well the crack will be good, so everyone can come."
