A MAN has been charged after his vehicle was stopped by the police near Tebay Services on the M6.
Cumbria Police say they seized around 5kg of cannabis from the vehicle on Monday, 29 April, with an estimated street value of between £15,000 to £20,000.
Klajdi Ferhati, aged 27, of Russel Street, Sunderland, appeared before Carlisle Magistrates Court today (1 May) charged with possession with intent to supply a Class B drug.
The seizure was done under Operation Alliance which the police say is their 'ongoing response to protect the county against serious and organised crime.'
