HOSPICE At Home West Cumbria is asking people to take part in a picture contest.
Anyone who is growing a sunflower is encouraged to send in their photos to the charity.
The hospice staff will then pick their favourite photo to be featured on their site on National Sunflower Day.
The day takes place annually on August 3.
A spokesperson said: "Are you growing your own sunflower? We would like you to send us photos of the Sunflowers you have grown. We will select our favourite sunflower image to share on National Sunflower Day on August 3.
"If you would like to take part, please send your photo to: info@hhwc.org.uk."
