Auction House Cumbria
Auction House Cumbria's live auction last Thursday was held at The Halston, Carlisle.
Of the 50 properties offered, 38 were sold, culminating in a remarkable total of over £4 million raised on behalf of Auction House Cumbria's clients.
Despite the school holidays and the recent election announcement, attendance was high.
A wide variety of properties were offered across the county, with a broader variation in guide prices ranging from a £10,000 flat in Barrow-in-Furness to a £512,000 property in the Lake District.
Several properties sold well over their initial guide price, including Beacon Square, in Penrith. Initially guided at £135,000, it was sold in the room for £183,000 - this is a testament to in-room bidding and the prices we can achieve for our sellers with a live auction environment.
Our next auction is scheduled for Thursday, July 18, post-general election; whatever the outcome, Auction House Cumbria will remain constant.
For the rest of the year, the upcoming auction dates are:
- Thursday, September 5
- Thursday, October 24
- Thursday, December 12
