THREE people have been identified following an incident of arson at a West Cumbrian children's play park.
Allerdale Police announced they were investigating a case of Arson which happened at the play park in Brigham on Saturday, June 8.
A small fire had been started at the children's play park with police saying that the incident was 'unacceptable' hitting out at a 'small minority' who ruin community assets like this 'for everyone'.
Yesterday, June 19 Allerdale police said that they have identified the individuals responsible for the vandalism, with those responsible being 'dealt with accordingly'.
A spokesman for Allerdale police said: "Following initial investigation into the arson at the playpark in Brigham, we are pleased to announce that 3 individuals have been identified as responsible and they are being dealt with accordingly.
"We wish to pass on thanks to the locals who have assisted in the initial stages of the investigation."
