AN investigation has been opened by police after a 'large amount of property' has been damaged at a businesses site in Workington.
Police are investigating an incident of criminal damage at the DLP Services Northern Ltd site situated on the wasteland behind Oval Centre in Salterbeck.
The damage occurred between 3pm on Friday, August 2 and 8am on Tuesday, August 6.
Cumbria Police have said that during the incident a large amount of property has been damaged, as they appeal for witnesses or any information relating to the incident.
A spokesman for Cumbria Police said: "Anyone with information relating to this incident can report online at cumbria.police.uk/report-it , quoting incident number 47 of August 6 2024. You can also phone on 101.
"Alternatively you can contact Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111."
