Hospice at Home West Cumbria is set to move to a bigger, brighter shop in Workington town centre.
The new shop will stock a wide range of pre-loved, vintage, and new items, including clothes, books, toys and some soft furnishings and ornaments.
The move was made possible by Nuclear Waste Services’ Community Investment Funding, awarded through the former Allerdale GDF Community Partnership.
The charity's retail manager, Judith Jarman, said: "We are very grateful to Nuclear Waste Services’ Community Investment Funding for their support and are excited to open our doors.
"Our new shop is bigger and brighter, and with a dedicated access at the rear of the building, people can drop off their donations easily.
"We are grateful to all our regular customers, and look forward to seeing them again, as well as welcoming many new ones."
The shop is set to open on August 19.
If you want to donate items, contact 01900 268045 after September 1 to arrange a free collection.
The proceeds from the sales will go to support the charity's work delivering palliative and end of life care to the community.
