Afternoon Tea is a quintessentially British and wholesome tradition.
Traditionally, it consists of a selection of sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam, and a variety of sweet treats in the form of pastries and cake.
'Tea week' takes place all year round in our house, as I'm sure it does in yours. But there is actually a designated time for tea lovers.
Afternoon Tea Week technically differs throughout different dates in August, no one seems to agree, but AfternoonTea.co.uk says it takes place from 12th - 18th August. So we'll go with them.
#AfternoonTeaWeek continues!
