These seven cats are currently in the care of Animal Rescue Cumbria while they wait for a loving family.

Animal Rescue Cumbria and The Wainwright Shelter take in, rehabilitate and rehome 350 cats and dogs every year. Once their cats are ready to find a new family, they can be advertised for adoption.

Meet the lovely felines currently looking for their forever homes…

CLOUSEAU is a white and black boy, estimated to be around 18 months old.

He loves to play and is described as ‘very sweet’ boy who would like to find a family with older children.

Animal Rescue Cumbria said Clouseau is not enjoying his time at the cattery and hasn’t been able to show his true personality.

They said: “Initially he can be a little independent but will soon enjoy lots of fuss when he trusts you.”

This ‘handsome’ boy is looking for an understanding owner who can help build his confidence.

He would prefer a home where he is the only pet and there are no young children, with an outdoor space to explore once he has settled in.

MUFFIN is a dilute tortie coloured female, who is ten years and five months old.

She is described as a very sweet girl who enjoys being with people and is very friendly once she gets to know you.

Muffin could live with older children but would like to be the only pet in the home.

She would like outdoor space to explore when ready away from busy roads.

 

GALADRIEL is a mingled tortie coloured, eight-week-old female kitten.

This beautiful kitten is named after Cate Blanchett’s memorable Lord of the Ring’s character.

She is described as very sweet, affectionate and playful. Galadriel could live with other pets and older children.

 

MARY is a five-year-old tortie and white coloured female.

She is described as a very sweet girl who enjoys being with people and would like to find a home with outdoor space to explore away from busy roads.

Mary could live with older children but would like to be the only pet in the home.

CUDDLES, the tortie and white coloured female cat is four years and 11 months old.

She has previous experience as a house cat and is described as a very sweet girl who loves human company.

Cuddles could live with older children but is looking for a home where she is the only pet.

 

KATARA is a tabby and white coloured female cat who is estimated to be about three years old.

Animal Rescue Cumbria said: “Whilst in our care Katara had four beautiful kittens. Now all her kittens have gone to their new families Katara is ready to find her extra special home!”

Katara is described as a very sweet, affectionate girl who enjoys being with people, and loves a fuss.

She could live with secondary school aged children but would prefer to be the only pet in the home.

 

MARGE is a white and tabby female cat who is estimated to be around one year old.

She is described as a very sweet and affectionate girl who enjoys being with people.

Animal Rescue Cumbria said Marge is struggling in the cattery environment and is looking for an understanding owner who can build her confidence.

She could live with older children but needs to be the only pet in the home and would like outdoor space to explore, away from busy roads.
