A piece of South Cumbrian land, offering new buyers a ‘unique’ opportunity, is for sale.
The 7,365 square meter plot is situated on the northern outskirts of Gleaston, near Ulverston.
It has been listed with an asking price of £55,000.
This is a plot of amenity land, which means it is green, unfenced land bordering residential dwellings.
The property extends to 1.82 acres and consists of a block of grassland with roadside access and gates at either side of the field.
On completion, the field will have newly fenced hedgerow boundaries to all sides, as well as a main water trough.
It is marketed by UAM Property, who have announced the sale by private treaty and said: “Due to the size and location of the property, we believe it will be of high interest to a variety of individuals, particularly for equine, allotments or those wanting somewhere in the countryside to escape to.”
