A MAJOR British shoe chain has announced the closure of one of its Cumbrian stores -thanking loyal customers who have used the store for a number of years.
Clarks has announced it will be closing its store on Risman Place in Workington in late September.
The historic shoe retailer has closed several other Clarks branches up and down the country over the past couple of years.
A spokesperson for Clarks said: "We’d like to thank our loyal customers who have shopped with us at this stores, and we’ll be delighted to continue to serve them with our full range of products online and at our nearby Clarks stores in Whitehaven, Barrow in Furness and Carlisle.”
