POLICE were called to a car crash in Workington this afternoon, with the road being closed for a period of time.
Police were called to the two vehicle crash on Douglas Road, Workington at 1.17pm this afternoon, September 20.
It is understood the crash was on the junction between Douglas Road, Corporation Road and Victoria Road.
The crash involved a blue Seat and black Audi, no injuries have been reported to the police log following the incident.
Witnesses pointed out the fading of the give-way lines at the junction, and raised concerns about the erosion of the markings.
The road was closed for a short period of time but reopened around 2.15pm.
