A Cumbrian group will bring an electric night of Christian rock and pop next month.
Commited 2 Rock Chix, based in Keswick, will perform in the town's St John's Church on November 8 at 7.30pm.
The brainchild of Cath Marcangelo, Committed 2 Rock Chix is described as "a superb blend of women’s voices, from low ladies to high sopranos with an amazing blend of harmonies within the rock and pop genre that you don’t usually hear".
A promo for the event reads: "They’ll be singing lots of favourites both old and new to get everyone dancing in the aisles.
"Being so close to Armistice Day, the choir chose to raise money for the Royal British Legion.
"In recognition of this very special day the choir will be singing a new version of the classic Leonard Cohen son “Hallelujah” with lyrics by a US navy veteran, Sailor Jerri, to remember all the sacrifices service men and women have made.
"So for an electrifying night of singing and dancing, come along and have a fun filled night and raise money for a very good cause."
Tickets on the door £10 or £8 for under 16s and over 65s.
