The Environment Agency has removed five flood alerts for the Ulverston area and the River Duddon.
Four flood alerts for the following areas around Ulverston have been removed this morning:

Town Beck at Ulverston from The Gill downstream to The Ellers area flood warning area

Town Beck at Ulverston from The Ellers to Dragley Beck flood warning area

Dragley and Lunds Becks at South Ulverston flood warning area

Dragley Beck at Ulverston from Dragley Beck Bridge on Well Lane downstream to South Ulverston flood warning area
The Environment Agency said that: "Weather conditions have improved and river levels have receded.
"We will continue to monitor river and rain levels in the area."
The Rivers Duddon, Crake and Mill Beck flood alert area was also put on alert but has since been removed.
