A POP up fashion show will head to Cockermouth next week- with the hope of raising much needed funds for outdoor benches at the town's secondary school.

The Cockermouth School and Community organisation have organised a Ladies Fashion Show and Pop-up Shop on Friday, November 8 to raise funds for the school to get some new outdoor benches.

The event will be held at Cockermouth School on Castlegate Drive in the town, with tickets still available for the event which will see some favourite high street brands on offer as well as a raffle to raise funds for the new benches.

Gillie Young, chair of Cockermouth School & Community Association said: "This is going to be a fantastic evening.

"We’re hoping that lots of our school parents and local ladies in and around Cockermouth will join us for a fun night out and help to raise lots of money for some new outdoor benches for Cockermouth School.

"We’ll have clothes and accessories from some of the top fashion brands and with discounts of up to 70 per cent it will be a great opportunity to pick up some bargains and maybe even buy some early Christmas presents.

"We have some fabulous raffle prizes too! And under 18s are free so you can bring the kids along and get some fashion tips! We look forward to seeing you there."
